This is Jourdain Gaerhart, everyone. My newest, and still in progress character in Skyrim.

He’s a Breton who grew up in Daggerfall until he was an adolescent, at which time he devoted himself to the teachings of Kynareth, joinging the Priesthood. He is profound in restoration, and a devout pacifist. He happily joined the groups of missionaries and healers sent to aid the Legion in Skyrim, hoping to do as much as he could to sooth suffering and bring peace. Things were going fine for him.

That is, until he was kidnapped from a camp that was attacked by Stormcloaks. He was damned by them for helping the Legion, and beaten severely. He had no choice but to try and fight to break free, using the few spells he had learned before joining the Priesthood. He managed to get away, knowing that the ones he left behind would die by the hands of the Stormcloaks. Weak and woozy, he wandered the forests, ending up in an even worse spot that he could have imagined; the ambush point of General Ulfric and his top lieutenants.

After the attack on the town where he was to be wrongly executed, Jourdain followed Hadvar the Legionaire to Riverwood. He still feels guilt for the souls he abandoned, and is now lost in the strange, hostlie lands of the Nords. He has no choice but to try and redeem himself through good acts, whether they need a forceful hand or a gentle touch.

He prays Kynareth will forgive him.

It’s amazing how much Alleyar has matured as I’ve gotten older. :> He’s gone from being a sort of girlish looking angst bucket to GRUMPY DUNMER MANLY MAN WITH A GOATEE.

huge headcanon thingie for Alleyar because.

1.  What does their bedroom look like?

When he had a home to live in, specifically Skingrad’s Rosethorn Hall, his bedroom was large and spacious, with a private fireplace, and several bookshelves, each filled with books on lore and Daedra, as well as Dunmer culture and history. It wasn’t entirely tidy, with several books or articles f clothing simply strewn about the room or on the bed.

2.  Do they have any daily rituals?

Every morning Alleyar follows the customs of his family, releasing a kiss to the sky to improve luck with the weather.

3. Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

Alleyar’s occupation as a sword for hire requires him to be as physically fit as possible, and he usually hunts, as well. Not only this, but he needs a lot of muscle, due to the fact that he wears heavy armor.

4. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

Depending on the nationality of the cuisine, he might back-seat cook. Otherwise, he’d just sit and look grumpy and hungry.

I don’t think they’re ugly. D: Well, my main issue is the way the Bosmer look. In all the past games they’ve been the elves who have squared or rectangle shaped jaws, and it set them apart and such, but now they just have the same face shape as the Altmer or the Dunmer, other than some slight differences in the jaw that are noticeable.

That’s really my only gripe with the way the elves look in Skyrim.

I will happily say that my favorite race, the Dunmer, look fucking bad ASS in Skyrim, and the Altmer look good, too.
