You see, as long as people dream, there will be Nightmare. He can’t be killed, destroyed, or banished.
Even if you managed to, reality would become FUCKED UP and all who slept would go insane.
Kinda like Dream of the Endless, from DC Comics’ “The Sandman”, by Neil Gaiman. Dream is needed to help define reality with his fantastical existence.
If there is no fantasy, there’s nothing for reality to not define as real. Understand?
