WHAT THE HECK WHY WOULD YOU POST THIS. THERE GOES MY HAPPY FEELING FOR THE NIGHT. YEP.
This movie was intense…holy crap.
I didn’t like that when this played on television, they had a completely alternate Joker death because apparently having Tim directly kill him was ~too dark~ or something.
In an alternate TV version, Tim knocks Joker into the shock treatment room, and into some water. The Joker then slips, accidentally turns on an electrode, and electrocutes himself. He is also never seen stabbing Batman in the knee or crippling him in any way.
Wait, really? This is how I remember it being on TV…
I remember the not-so-dark version myself, so that’s where I was coming from. Maybe both had a chance to air on TV…? I dunno.
When I first saw this I was about 16 years old. I had missed it when I was a kid. But I luckily didn’t see the TV version first.
But goddamn this was like… amazingly dark and dreary. Perfect Batman feel.
